I am excited to announce another 6-week renovation blitz! Last spring, I did the Jeffrey Court bathroom renovation challenge – and now I’m participating in the Better Home and Gardens One Room Challenge. This fall, I’ll be doing one of our guest bedrooms. HOPEFULLY (fingers crossed) it will be a little less work that the full bathroom gutting and rebuilding – the bedroom should only need a facelift; nothing crazy! You’ll be able to follow along here on the blog and on instagram!
This should be pretty interesting – I have two different ideas for inspiration and I’m really not sure where this is going to take me… but the guest bedroom really needs some attention. When we moved in last year, we just stuck a bed in there and called it a day and focused on other areas of our house. So I’m excited to finally give it some love – guest bedrooms are one of my favorite design projects! One thing I’m pretty sure about is that I’ll be doing some sort of board & batten situation – its a small, dark room, so any sort of “features” or “accents” can’t be tooooo busy. I love how this looks – just adds texture. YAY TEXTURE!
To get me started, here is my “inspo” board on pinterest. You’ll see that the photos are all really different …. again – I don’t know where this project is going to take me! Fingers crossed I can figure it out as I go!
